The New Year has settled in nicely for me. Praise God!
Although I don't consider myself a "box checker" or one to have a bucket list, this is the year that I fulfill my dream of going to Cuba!! WooHOOooo!!
Thanks to the normalization of relations between Cuba and the U.S., I feel more confident about booking my trip to Cuba. Heck, the way Big Brother is always lurking, I feel safer about even conducting the search for info regarding Cuba! #ijs
Thanks for the plethora of articles on travel to Cuba, I have settled on InsightCuba as my tour company, as you still need to "travel with a purpose" when going to Cuba if you're not a descendent; so after resaerching itineraries and pricing, I have decided on the Weekend in Santiago de Cuba tour as I want the Afro-Cuban experience. Take a look at my itiniterary and look forward to a post of "My Experience" later on in the year. I will visit Havana when either for the annual Jazz Festival or when I'm available to book and roam free on my home.
