The Why, Where, When and Fine Print...

So in thinking about what to do for my 50th (Dec 2017), I began to review my short list of places that I want to visit and South Africa really resonated with my spirit. I really, really want to go shark cave diving and I need to do that sooner rather than later... :) So, in review of the best time to observe the sharks, May - September is that timeframe. I decided on May because I like to plan trips around a US paid holiday so that's one less PTO day that I have to use, so our dates in South Africa are May 19-28th (travel dates not included).

Following the itinerary that I previously created for 2015, this multi-state 9 night trip will include a 3 night safari and 2 nights in Johannesburg (Joburg) and 4 nights in Cape Town.

Here's the fine print...

There's no mark-up pricing added to the cost of this trip, I'm simply inviting you to travel with me, up to 10 people.

This is a multi-state, a la carte trip: You can opt to join me for the entire trip or just a few days. Rooms will be reserved as a group for pricing and space guarantee. You will need to secure all flights. Ground transportation costs will be determined based on total headcount. All day trips for Johannesburg and Cape Town are at your choosing. A small group meeting will be held 3 months prior to the trip to finalize details.

To effectively manage communication (pricing, lodging, flights, activities, etc.), I'll use this blog to provide updated information; so once you've committed to joining me, you'll receive emails advising you of the blog updates.
